trans issue

I have a 2009 sportsman xp. I have to pull the trans out and replace the gear selector. Do I need any special tools to get the trans out? Do I need a clutch puller or anything? any advice would be great!

thanks

what are the Advantages of same size tyres on front?

What are the advantages of having the same size tyres on the front?? like the rear?

1.Id like to hear peoples opinions on advantages verses disadvantages? eg; harder to steer, verses more traction etc.

2.Also mudders opinions what do you run on your quad all same size? or OEM smaller on the front and larger on the rear.

3. If you have a lift kit does it make a difference to having wider wheels on the front?

I know most people take a larger whee/tyre size diameter than standard, does not seem many people favour the 26inch 12’s that come standard on the pre2017 models? :tools1:

First time owner, trying to figure out what I can do to get this running right. In neutral revs just fine but in gear anything more than 1/4 throttle she bogs down. I picked up some carb cleaner since it’s been sitting for a while and gonna clean that out real good. But I also noticed oil maybe coming from the top of the head. Looks like maybe from valve covers. Will know today when it’s light out and give it a good once over. I have been looking for parts but I don’t know much of anything about them, I know my way around an engine, wondering what gaskets should I replace, and should I get a gasket kit for the carb. Thanks for any help in advance.
