Hey everyone! Just bought a 2010 Sportsman 500 with 480 engine hours for my wife. I have a Can Am 650 and we enjoy going to camp in Potter County to enjoy life.
Lights added to mud bar
I missed the bright light on my sportsman 800 that turned when I turned.
I added two 1000LM 10watt cree lights. I bent a piece of 3/16th steel and mounted the lights to the mud bar. Seems to work perfect so far.

96 magnum transmission drain plug?
I know this may seem stupid but I am new to atv’s and I cant find the drain plug for my 96 magnum 425 4×4.
Any help would be much appreciated.

660 and 700 Rear brake
My 660 has the brake mounted to drive shafts side of gear case. 700 I saw yesterday has them mounted out at the hubs, like fronts. Wonder if gear cases wearing out or pinion carrier seals cooking had anything to do with the change?

I’m still looking for a plow machine. Was looking at Foreman’s only as mrbb suggested but lowered my top price due to limited use and plow, winch cost.

I looked at a few newer ones 05/07 and the putting it in reverse I didn’t like. This one with the reverse being on a separate lever seems easier to do.
pls help! weird sounds during startup
yo guys, been having some trouble with my grizzly 660, i noticed when i was pushing the startup button, it was making a groaning sound? yeah, weird. this all was happening when the engine was turning over, not when it fired up. this may not be related, but i noticed a strong fuel getting strong every time it groaned.
i know this is super weird and you probably never heard of it, but help is appreciated!

RD and Scrambler Pads Review
I installed RD’s pads on the Scrambler 1K.
Following a one day (130 some odd miles) ride at H&M, I feel I can now provide an accurate review of the pads.
I wouldn’t say there is much of a difference between Polaris pads and RD’s pads as far as grab goes out of the gate. What I will say is that over a long ride at high rates of speed and hills requiring lots of braking, the pads did not show an ounce of fade.
I can not give a review on the life of the pads at this point, but so far so good!

Plastic interchangeable ??
I searched the forum a few different ways and I can’t find the an answer. I have a 2015 1000xp and I was wondering if the 850’s plastic was interchangeable with my 1000XP? anybody know? If so what years where what colors?
