Hey guys, I have an 02 xpedition 425 and I need to replace the rear drive shaft assembly. I am wondering what other models of polaris may have parts that can fit on the xpedition 425? Also it is having shifting issues. There is lots of free play in the shifter. I have tried adjusting the clutch but still no success. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I own a 2010 550XP and have had fairly good luck besides it shuts down on it’s own 3 or 4 times the 1st time you attempt to start it, sometimes won’t start at all once it gets warmed up, and the exhaust gets so hot it has melted plastic around the seat all with 170 hours on it. Still I really wanted a side by side & thought I’d stick with a USA based manufacturer. Like an idiot I didn’t test drive the machine I purchased, literally unloaded it & drove it a mile & it was vibrating like the thing was going to come apart, brand new mind you. I text the dealer & they say check this check that & then come back & say oh yea we have a bulletin on those. A bulletin 1 day after I paid $21594 for a brand new machine. I guess I should have woke up when the stickers were pealing off while I was loading it up on the trailer at the dealer or when we could not get the hood latched because the thing is so poorly engineered. The more I look at it the more I see it’s junk. Unbelievably disappointed and frustrated!

I’m looking to install some new tires on my 2016 450 currently sporting some tiny 24’s. Does anyone one what the max tire size is on a stock 450/570 without lifting or cutting fender panels?
I find a good deal on a 2011 Sportsman 500 and picked up a Groundhog disc plow, and I think I’m set. I go to put on the disc, and it doesn’t fit. The receiver is a different size than the common 2" hitch. I contacted Groundhog and was told the receiver that comes with the Sportsman is too lightweight to use with the Groundhog, so I’ve been contacting various companies that have ATV receiver hitches. Unfortunately, I’ve not been able to find anyone that has one that will work. I did find something that looked like a coupler (fit into the receiver on the Sportsman) and in turn the disc fits into that. I don’t think it will work – if the original hitch is too lightweight, increasing the lever arm will only increase the torque on receiver. I’d appreciate any ideas. I’m trying to get an old Wards PowrKraft welder going, so before too long, I’ll have to make my own.
My 2004 kodiak 400 is leaking fuel from the carb bowl out the drain tube. Happens when bowl drain screw is in tight and fuel/tank selector is ON. Nomfuelmappears to be leaking into the crankcase or engine oil.
reason for this??? How can I solve? Thanks !!!!
So I had installed All Ballsbearing because it’s all I could get at the time… And I had not read up on them. A lot of people say they are junk and I agree. How much play is normal with new bearings, I actually bought new hubs because after I installed them I still had play my ball joints seemed good. Fast forward, I just got around to installing the new hub and changed the ball joints at the same time. I have taken a video to show the play it hasn’t changed. I am correct in thinking this is too much play.https://vimeo.com/191656563
