I have Honda 10W-40, Four Stoke, SJ in the machine currently. I have a lot of oil, but I’m not sure I should mix even if they are all one brand with different suffix’s.
Can I mix any of these oils without doing any harm?

We have just recently signed up for this forum. We are a registered ATV salvage company, repair shop, retailer. We have many good, new, and used parts and machines!! Our shop name is Parts R Us and there will be a few different people using this name so we can quickly answer any questions along with requests. We are all riders of all kinds of brands but Polaris is one of our top specialties!! I look forward to getting to know everybody and help out when needed! Just so you know we have recently dismantled a 2003 Sportsman 600 and a 1999 Sportman 500 if anybody needs anything from them!! For now everybody have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!! They are finally calling for snow for us this weekend and so the fun begins!!
Thanks
My DS650 got a bit of rain for 2 days and was also travelling with it on a trailer during a thunderstorm for a few hours, got it real wet.
After about a month when i wanted to run it a little the red light stayed on after starting. I did the following so far:
– Checked oil levels which is fine
– Checked water levels fine
– Removed oil filter and cranked starter which let oil out meaning pump works
– Checked oil container and oil clearly pumps
– I then removed and replaced the oil pressure switch which seem to be problem if it gets wet.
This is where the problem starts. Now if i turn key for electronics to come on the light goes on red normally, but when i start the bike the red light goes to very dim light. I have to cup my hands in order to see it, but it is still on, even though dim.
I’ve tried to check the wiring at the dash, and cleaned them out made no difference.
Does anybody have an idea to help me with this?
One last thing that i might mention is that the new pressure switch i put in, looks slightly different than the one the bike came with as i cannot find an exact part in South Africa, but it’s the same thread and bar than the bombardier one (0.30 bar)
