Did some electronic rebuilds on my 2007 Sportsman 500 HO EFI. Ordered this part 3280431 ASM-CLUSTER,110MM,W/FUEL (Speedo Cluster) from Partzilla ($274.76 out the door) and once we fixed a few other things we did not need it! —And Because its an electronic part they wont take it back.

New member in NE Arkansas. I’ve been a sport two wheeler for a while and come to the conclusion four wheels will make for a lot of fun for the family. Just purchased a recon and a rubicon deluxe. I know I will learn alot (already starting) and will hopefully be able to contribute something of value to the group.

I purches a 1994 polaris sportsman last week . The atv is in great shape, and ot starts and idles and everything. The throttle is kind of boggy until the engine has warmed up so i replaced the air filter, spark plug, fuel filter, took the carb out and cleaned it out, checked the float level and what not. When i was putting the carb back in i realized there was fuel line that goes from the tank and runs to the carb. Does this atv not have a fuel pump? Also all i see is 2 nipples on the carb that where a hose connects to. 1 hear the top, and 1 down by the float bowl. Are those just vent tubes, or does a vacuum line connect to one of those? If there is no fuel pump, and no vaccum lines hooked up the the carb, how does the fuel get to the carb?

I am new to the Ultramatic system. Can they be towed a few miles with a dead stick engine without doing any damage, say 15 MPH ?

Are there any cautions if I, or one of my Yamaha Ultramatic riding buddies, need to be towed a few miles? Can they be towed slowly (say 20 MPH) with a dead stick engine without doing any damage?

I went deer hunting last week in Montana’s Crazy Mountains with my Son and 3 friends. We had a great time, saw lots of deer. No real monsters, but we got some nice bucks. The weather was unseasonably warm. Because of the warm weather, all the processors full, not taking any game. We ended up skinning and quartering all the deer so they would fit in coolers. Then we cut them up and ground the trimmings when we got back home.

Does a 450L Outlander Max have a Transmission/Gear Case that Requires an Oil Change, or just a front & rear Diff/Final drive? I see the 570 has a Gearbox & Front/Rear Diffs, But 450 Just says to Change Front Drive. 17.oz Rear 18.5 oz But Nothing on a Gear case/Transmission?? AM I missing Something??
