The last issue I have with my 2005 sportsman 400, is difficulty shifting from gears. It has always been harder than I feel it should be, but since i started plowing my driveway… And all the forwards andv reverse, I feel that it’s gotten worse, it maybe I am just using it more. Basically, i come tons full stop and it’s like I have to pop it in/out. Linkages seem fine. Nothing bent etc. Is there something I can open up/ adjust?
Hi everyone. sorry I know this has been discussed alot but due to where I live I have to order tires and have them shipped. So I need to get it right the first time. I am running stock tires right now on stock rims with no mods. 25X8 R12 and 25X10 R12 …. I would like to go slightly bigger. However I am concerned as the tie rod is already very close to the tire on the front. Do I have to stick with the 8 width on the front?
Example I would like to install these … will they be okay?
26X9 R12
26X11 R12
Anyone already running a larger tire on stock rims can you post your size? I have no suspension mods of any kind.
Hey guys, newbie here working on a 98 model (first year of the Grizz I think) and after installing a new Dayco belt and cleaning the hell out of the primary all was well……briefly lol. I left the cover off, started it up and everything seemed to be working per the numerous YouTube vids I watched. Put the cover on and pretty soon i hear some clunking noises. Took the cover off and I strongly suspect i made a mistake with the roller weights inside the primary. Is there a good greaseless solution for the 98s? I may have had my sliders flipped the wrong way as well……what happens when you get that wrong? Thanks for any advice…….this CVT is new to me and seems quirky???? Is there a good kit for both primary and secondary sheaves that is affordable? One last question the wet clutch outer seems worn a bit…..when i pulled the wet clutch the weights were worn down to bare metal in spots, what is the spec for inside diameter of the clutch outer???…..previous owner was an idiot.

I just noticed last night that my rear diff. was leaking where the driveshaft enters. What is the simplest way to replace that seal? I was thinking about unbolting the whole diff and sliding it backwards but wanted to ask the experts first. Thanks in advance for any help.!
Winters coming fast on us here after being in the 70’s the past couple days and now 6+in of snow. My synthetic winch line has had its fair share of days and is showing wear.
What kind has everyone had luck with and reccomends?
Is it necessary to us the designated "plow rope" that is like 8ft long? My only problem with that is I go riding often in the snow and just unhook the plow and go, if I get stuck then my winch is useless.
This is going on a warn provantage 3500-s by the way.

Ok so this is how we do it in Australia. Everything is bigger here. Lol. Not my cup of tea. But apparently the guy that owns it said he wanted a tough bar and this was the result. Lol
