04 sportsman wiring problems!!

I just got this atv and put new key switch, battery, starting silinoid. All the wiring is hacked on there is no hot wire hooked up? Only battery to silinoid and then to starter. There are wires cut by the battery 2 red wires and 1 red with a white stripe and an orange. Any help would be great! Also I noticed on the 7 pin key switch two pins are not used?? Thanks for any help

2005 Sportsman 500 HO

Total newb here so I have a few questions. I’m looking at purchasing a 2005 Sportsman 500 HO but I just realized it carbed. Is this something I should worry about. I’ll be using this between 2000 ft of elevation up to 7000 ft with most use below 5000. It has front and rear bumpers, hand guards, rear storage, GPS and mount, maxxis bighorn tires and 589 hours. Any insight on the carb would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,
Bob

Hi all – just bought a slightly used Outlander L 570 Hunting Edition, and took it right to a shop for a checkup and service. It had around 210 miles and less than 30 hours, but had not had any service done as of yet. So, didnt even take it off the trailer before taking in in.

Primary purpose will be for hunting, and can’t wait to get it back and take it out!

Honda 90 ATV dies out after 15 minutes of riding

I’ve been fighting with my son’s Honda 90 ATV for a while now. It cranks up and runs fine for about 15 minutes. Then, it starts to sputter and it dies out. Sometimes I can get it back running and sometimes I can’t. I’ve changed the ECU, I’ve changed the carb, I’ve changed the fuel lines from the carb to the tank, and I’ve changed the plug wire. I still have the same problem. There is still fuel in the bowl when it dies and I have spark at the plug also. Any suggestions??
