Okay, I did a search on this but didn’t come up with much on it. Is anyone running a 26x10x12 front tire on a 4+3 offset rim on the front of their 570? Specifically a 26x10x12 Grim Reaper.
The one post that I found of a guy running 26x10x12 on the front I PMd since they make both a 12×7 and 12×8 in the rim he’s using. One has a 4+3 off set and the other has a 4+4 offset. Think he is running swamp lites.
Doing a careful once over of the ’02 660 I just bought and found about a 7/16 OD rubber hose, under the pull starter cover panel, laying over the pull starter dangling in the wind. It goes up to a tee, and the right angle of the tee goes into the carb at the top. From the manual, it looks like this must be the Vacuum Chamber Breather tube. But the the other side of the tee is also hooked up to nothing. The one picture in the manual doesn’t show anything hooked up to either ends of the tee, but why would Yamaha have an open tube going up a few inches, and a downward tube a foot or so long that also connects to nothing? Am I missing something?

CAM…. not came…Okay.. I have rebuilt a couple of early model 400EXs and know that in fact they use a decompression plunger in the head near the cam sprocket…. I recently purchased a 2012 400x that’s in parts and am looking everything over before I purchase parts and reassemble… looking at the head I noticed the hole where normally in a 400ex contains the spring and decompression plunger… but it’missing in this bike… so I venture onto bike bandit to go to order it and it’s in the diagram but not listed in the parts as it is for a 400ex… so my question is does a 2012 model use one?

I’m looking at trying to get a wider stance on my ace without the compromise of rubbing. Just looking for suggestions if I’m not going in the right direction.
I am interested in the MSA M23 battle wheels. They say 4+3 offset. Does that work on all four corners. Also wanna run the Maxxis Big Horn 26 X 9 X 14 up front and 26 X 11 X 14 in the back. Will this wheel and tire combo work? Also will this give me a slightly wider stance? Thanks for any info. Figuring offsets is new to me and any help is appreciated.
Cleaned plug, added Berrymans B12 to tank but still wont start. Says its fuel injected on back fender. I pulled the air filter off to see if I could prime it somehow. did so to give it a try and it ran till it burned up the prime.
Any idea what i can do before having to haul it to a dealer?
I have a 2016 Rancher 420 4×4 foot shift. Im not looking to sling mud, but looking for more push/pulling power. Besides going larger, what would be the best mods?
