Before my hatfield mccoy trip decided I should do my valves.. They were long long overdue.. Was always worried about them.. My bike is a 2013 with 1700 miles I cant remember for sure but I think 160 hours.. To get to the point.. Dont worry about it that much.. Mine werent even bad.. The exhausts were a hair out of spec but not dangerously out.. Needless to say for you new guys coming in that is being told it needs to be done within the first 30 hours dont worry about that.. Do your fluid change at about 10 hours and call it a day for the next 1,000 miles..
I’ve been very happy with my bike.. I dont ride exactly easy either but dont beat the living crap out of it either..
So far my only big problem ive had with it was the headlight switch not working to change between high and low.. Put a set of race driven pads on it and thats been it. Looking forward to another 1,700 miles on it..
Had a blast in WV.. 400 mile trip sucked but a weekend with great friends and sweet riding was all worth it!
Evening All,
I have looked/researched and read just about every thread I could find on the forum in regards to stereos being installed on the Grizzly.
Nothing recent seems to have been posted lately, so was wondering if some members could post their systems, what they include and mounting ideas.
Anything from sound bars to separates with an amp and head unit/Bluetooth. I will be using my IPod via Bluetooth or connecting cable for the music source. The only thing I do not want to do or have room for is a sound tube type set up. Have been racking my brain trying to come up with something that will sound great, look good and clean, and I will be able to hear over the wind and exhaust. Getting ready to mount a DMC Quiet Core Exhaust w/EFI tuner on the 700, so not sure how loud that will be, but I know how loud the wind is at 50 when I am running down the road. Any input and pics is appreciated. I am not worried about the cost of system, just that it performs and isn’t a sound tube type set up.
Grizzly is a ’14 700 Camo with EPS.
Thank you in advance!!

Hey guys, I’m having issues with the transmission on the grizzly. To start with, the engine had a rod knock so I went ahead and tore it all down and did a bottom end rebuild. I should mention that I replaced the one way bearing and the wet clutch also.
Now when I start it, it’ll make this loud clunking sound on the right side of the engine. When I put it into high as well as reverse, it made a knarly grinding noise. The clunking happens pretty often and it’ll do it in neutral too. I thought it was something having to do with the primary sheave so I took it apart, cleaned it up and put it back together.
I went to start it again and it still makes that same clunking noise. I’m gonna tear into the wet clutch to see if maybe I put the one way backwards or if anything else is wrong.
If u guys have had something like that or got any ideas let me know.

Hello Adrien,
I know that we are working now on the 2017 Can-Am lineup and doing tuning on them. I will bring up to my R&D department your request for duals. This is something I would like to see as well for the Outlanders. Try back in about a 4-6 weeks and we should have something completed or very close by that point in time. Have a great Thanksgiving and take care today!

Bring up winches and next think I know mine won’t work?!? Power to solenoid, no power out to winch. Took cables that go to the winch off the solenoid, hooked a jumper box up and winch works. Stupid solenoid is bad again??? How is that possible? I don’t understand how I keep frying them. Warn is sending me a new one but it’s just the idea of it. Winch is less then a year old too
Well once again Ryan at RVS Performance did his magic. I had him do the stage 2 reflash on my girlfriends 570 Sportsman and man did it wake up. Along with GSE’s new quieter Trail Tamer exhaust I think I found the set up. Thanks again Ryan for all the advice even when you were down with the Flu. Was considering an 850 for her but she really liked the nimble 570 So some wheels and tires, reflash and exhaust, and it suits her just fine. For the time being that is. Sure can’t wait till he comes up with a re-flash for the xp1000 Sportsman
As my research has shown and a friend of mine confirmed, I am aware that Maxxis offers the bighorn in a 26"tire for the 15" wheel. Are there any others out there and is anyone running this setup?
If so can you post some pics and tell me your experience with the setup?
So, over the past few weeks I have been contemplating a different style winch switch. I hate the one that originally came with my polaris winch. It sticks up high and it seems everything hits it or catches it. I wanted one the actually mounted around the handle bars. Now I like the style that comes on the highlifter 1000 editions, so I ordered one. Now I need some help from members that possibly have a highlifter style or know how to find out the factory connector / harness that would actually connect to the winch switch. Would this come as a kit or can I order the connector separate? I have attached some pictures of how the winch switch comes. Any help would be appreciated.
My 1990 Four trax have a two bolt threads for attaching a plow. I have connected the plow before, however used a smaller bolt because I never knew the correct size. Anyone know it?
