I was looking around hoping to find a decent quality bulb for the third headlight, and then came across a PIAA Xtreme white H6M bulb. Paid $30 for it off of Amazon and it definitely works better then the factory bulb.
Left is stock and the right is the PIAA.
07 700 eps with 26" ripsaws, 2r tip and a twin air filter
it used to wheelie and topped out around 62mph on the 25" GBC dirt devils and i want that low end grunt back, but there are places where i can get up to those speeds and i don’t want to lose that if possible… my machine is already one of the slowest in my group.
planning on a bullet box and airbox mod from ehs to get a little more grunt, possibly a cam if i need some more, but that’s a big maybe.
here’s what im thinking on the clutch and i’d love everyone’s opinions/constructive criticism as to whether this is a good starting point.
18gram greasless sliding weights
1mm shim
purple epi spring
my hope is that the sliding weights will give back some of the top end lost by the shim.
Am i way off base here?
Should i be looking into wet clutch components as well?
am i just going to have to 780 this b!tch to get where i wanna be?
Any and ALL opinions/suggestions from you guys who’ve been here/done this are most appreciated!:peace:
in the fluid reservoir there is a black rubber plug with slits, under this plug I find 1 hole about 1/6 of an inch and next to it another dimple that looks like it may be another hole. so the question is ,is there 1 hole or 2 under this plug? forgot to mention it’s a 91 trx 300 front brakes are hydro drums and back is manual drum. can the cylinder bore be honed or is a new one the best option?
My rear diff is toast and needs replaced, but I really don’t want to spend $520 for a new diff. I recently heard that swapping a Foreman 350D diff, axle and axle tube would be a great upgrade with minor mods for the shock mount. I found one that I can get for $100 or so, but want to replace all the bearings and seals before installing. Pinion set looks very good, but a little play in the pinion.
Any feedback on is this worthwhile? Where can I get a good bearing and seal kit? How hard is it to rebuild?
Thanks in advance for any feedback
