Advice on using a plow strap setup

I have a 2014 550 with a Warn Pro Vantage Plow with the front mount setup. It comes with that ridiculous plastic guide for the cable or rope, but I want to use a 2" boat winch strap !500lb rating. Where do you hook the strap to on the plow push bars? There’s no way the strap fits in the guide, and I dont know about hooking it to the bolt that holds the guide in place, because it looks like a very short lift from the winch. I want to be able to lift the plow blade up at least to the headlights, this doesn’t seem plausible. I don’t want anything attached to my front rack either.

Xp transmission

Does anybody know if a 2011 or newer tranny will fit in a 2010 machine? I know they are different part numbers but I am thinking it is due to the internals being different. I think the 10s have something like the 09s like a spike load damper. I know they did away with all of that in 11. Also wondering if my 10 clutches would f it the newer tranny?

Thanks

Flywheel explosion.

Heard some ticking after changing starter bendix. After a few runs no spark. Changed cdi, ignition coil. Have another stater and pulse coil on the way. What about these magnets inside the flywheel. Can I redo them or just get another flywheel? Please help. Thanks guys!

2001 Forman 450ES

Hi there, new to the forum. Have carb question. Sometimes while idling it cuts out and acts like it almost dies then picks back up. And also sometimes when put in gear and start to accelerate it has a quick cut out then it straightens out. Any ideas on what the problem may be? Is this model fuel injected? Thanks in advance.

Noise in drive train 660 grizzley

I have a 660 grizzley that started a clunking noise. I believe it’s in drive train. It started as I went up a hill and gave it a good amount of gas. The front wheels lifted up off the ground. It didn’t slam down hard. I noticed rear differential was kinda loose. I’ve read these are infamous for this. Tightened it up but no change. I jacked the bike up. Spun the front wheels while in neutral. No noise. I spun the rear wheels while in neutral and the noise occurred. In this video you wheel see the drive shaft when I am spinning the wheels. It is in neutral during this. It’s kind of getting stuck and then popping out of its stuck position. It does it any time the rest wheels are spinning. Neutral. In every gear. And reverse. Seems to drive fine. 4wd works.

I tried to edit and delete my other post regarding this. It wouldn’t let me. Sorry about the double post.
