I replaced the 2 gaskets (happy face ring, and the o-ring) on the Petcock for my 2002 Kodiak 400 ultramatic. Now the knob is very difficult to turn with pliers…near impossible to do with the actual plastic selector knob. I greased the gaskets, but have no idea why it’s so tight.
Does anybody have a picture or links to videos where the order of reassembly is clearly shown? I took it apart a month or two ago and thought I had it all lined up for proper reassembly, but maybe I made a mistake while waiting for the parts?
If someone can find a link to an under the hood picture of snorkeling a 2008 sportsman 500.
Right now I have the snorkels ran into the pod. Yesterday I took them out and decided to snorkel up through the storage box and up. I cannot see to find the space to run a 2" T fitting for my airbox snorkels.
If someone has a picture of theirs, it would be greatly appreciated, and how they entered the box with the flex hose.
My grill is crooked in the picture but it’s straight now, had to do a few adjustments.
Oh and Btw this is my first post so Hello from the Panhandle :+1:?
I bought a 2016 Grizzly EPS back in September or so, and love the machine so far. Definitely think I made the right purchase based on my needs. I haven’t done any mods yet, but Christmas is coming soon!
My only gripe, like many others is fuel delivery. I am about the pull the trigger on a EHS controller and intake. I was crossing a small but muddy really muddy creek the other day, and on my way back across I hit the throttle hard, only to have it stall out and I ended up nose down it. The only upside to the story is how impressed I was getting out. I thought I was stuck for sure. Put in diff lock and the Grizz ripped out in reverse and I was able to get back across.
I have some Zillas on request for Christmas, think it will perform nice in the mud with those.

The rear brakes on my Rancher seem to lockup and slide more than stop. I have adjusted the wing nuts on the rear of the quad but I was wondering if there were any other adjustments I can make. The brake fluid level looks fine. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I am new to this group and look forward to viewing/learning from many on this website. I am not new to ATV’s started with a Honda 110 and owned many in between to my current unit, a Honda Rancher. Personally, I would like to get an older 3 wheeler to putts around the property and will be on the lookout for a unit here or elsewhere….
Installed a 12" LED light recently and rode for 500 miles in rain, sleet and slop for 3 days. Drove home in open trailer in monsoon rain storm then cleaned the machine up. The light was very easy to install and work perfectly the whole trip, BUT. Prepping the machine for winter storage and the light will not turn on. This is what I know: light switch with LED indicator is on, inline fuse is not blown, grip warmers work (works off the same machine fuse) and no visible breaks in the wiring.
I have a multimeter but am unsure how to use it correctly and I’m not sure if the light bar has failed completely. Looking for any help to use the multimeter or other means to troubleshoot were this failing.
