I have a 2011 outlander 650 max xt. the other day I was down the fire station and was looking at our engine and seen the external battery post on it in case it needs jumped. And that got me thinkin.
Anyone every think of doing this to a 2011 outlander? Because getting to that betters sucks if you need to jump it. And would be nice for a tender too.
Alright guys, we got a ’14 570. Has the Polaris winch with the gigantic bracket which completely blocks the fill plug for the front diff. Is it just the ’14’s that you have to take the whole dam winch out to service? Is it just the Polaris one that blocks the plug? Has anyone changed something to make it easier to service?
Right now I think I’m going to get a new plug, drill it through and tap it 1/8 NPT to put a fitting and run a line up to the front box. Then just measure out fluid from now on. Still can’t believe the service of the diff was blocked by they winch plate.

I am in the process of rebuilding the bottom end on my scrambler 400 and I have the cases split and everything removed. I just can’t figure out how to remove the counterbalance bearing that is in the case, there is no way to press in out from the reverse side. Any ideas?
Does anyone have or recommend an outdoor cover for my 2004 Sportsman? I won’t always be able to keep it in the garage so I’d like a good sturdy cover for when it needs to sit outside.

I purchased some 26-11 14 Grim reapers. I notice them rubbing on the rear seat floor brace when under significant compression. Anyone else have this issue? I am running stock wheels. Anyone make any mods that work well? I didn’t want to buy rims or put spacers on….
I really like the tires but don’t want to tear them up from rubbing the lugs on the metal brace….

93 Polaris Sportsman 4×4 2 stroke.
New battery filled and charged by me on slow charge for several days.
Installed it as requested.
The problem before was it only had a click from the solenoid. The old battery was definitely dead, even desulfating charger didn’t save it. So I put in the new one.
So, when I turn the key on and push the starter button it just clicks once.
If I take my roll around charger and hook to ground and the starter side of the solenoid and turn it on it cranks over ok.
I’m sure this is a bad solenoid. Question: is there an interchange for the solenoid from auto parts or other atv/mc brands?
