Calling all DIY 2″ Snorkelers
My question to you DIYer’s is, where did you get your 2" flexible hose/pipe from? Are you using 2" black flexible pvc pipe? I’ve seen some people use pump style suction hoses, central vacuum hoses and spa/pool hoses. I’m not sure I trust that stuff and I don’t want some off color (not black) hose on my bike either. Also, I want to make sure as not to restrict air flow to anything, so I’m not into the snorkelmyatv, mud industries, highlifter, etc. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Happy New Year! :gcrules:
from a land down under
i have been reading your post for a long time and enjoy this site very much.
i live in a land down under ( australia mate,) live in the north / tropical region very hot and humid at the moment ( wet season starting,) my main use for my polaris sportsman 500 2010 mod when not in the workshop is feral pig hunting, i have a friend an hours drive from my place that has a small farm ( cattle property ) 100.000. aceres
and i go there every week chasing wild hogs and wild dogs / the dogs chase the calfes and kill then, i have read a few post and it;s scary when you guys talk about heated devices to keep you warm while riding , most of the time here it is 33 deg and high humidity ,my night mear is in the work shop because i can;t get the brakes to work( air in the system ) have tried every trick in the book to fix but no luck , it is very good to see that there are so many of you guys who are very clever with fixing your bikes and will share this information around, i perfere to throw petrol over it and burn it, havent done it yet but sworn many times to my bike that it is coming,
have a safe and happy new year, when i become smart enough i will post some pictures of my bike and what i do.
