Canned Ham Rear final drive junk

So I stripped the splines on my front propeller shaft and the bushing on the front differential while plowing snow. The next day I load my quad into my truck and take it to my brothers house to pull the prop shaft in his heated garage. I unloaded the quad in his driveway and am reversing in two wheel drive through 6" of snow, the quad will barely move with the tires spinning and suddenly I hear a snap / clunk sound. Turns out the rear final drive piled up, this is the second time it has happened with less then 1000 km on the machine. The first time it happened with around 400 km on the quad, this time it is around 900 km on the quad. The first time it happened on gravel I had just shifted from reverse to low and snap / clunk, Can Am replaced it due to low km on the machine. This time they say that they will not replace it, I’m pretty choked that their rear final drives fail so easily, it is ridiculous to break 2 of them in less then 1000 km. I’m starting to see why everyone calls them Canned Ham, right now it is just an expensive pile of junk, its gonna cost me about $2000.00 to get it running again after spending almost $1000.00 on a Canned Ham plow system that I used once. That’s my rant for the day, I’m going to talk to Jarret Burley at Mud-N-Wheels. I just wish I could find a prop. shaft and bushing from somewhere else so that I never have to give Canned Ham my business ever again.

HL vs XP

I’m in the process of selling my RZR 1000 and considering both a 2017 High Lifter and XP 1000. If I get a XP 1000, I still would like to run 29 to 30" tires. How does the High Lifter fit those tires? Is the fenders cut where the XP’s is not? If I wanted to fit those tires on a XP all I had to do would be cut the fenders?

14 850 xp h.o.

Gentleman. I’m torn between 2 tires for my beast.
I’m going all skinny and I have a 2 inch lift on it already. I’ve done countless hours of research and pricing..
Im really leaning towards a 30x9x14 silverback bc they are cheaper, similar ride comfort, and similar tread to the outlaw.
29.5×9.5×14 Outlaw 2s were next up, but they are heavier and much more expensive.
Power isn’t an issue, and I know they’ll ride rough, I just wanna know who has which, and what do you like/dislike about them.
Thanks!

2016 Sportsman 1000XP JUNK!!!

I bought my 2016 Polaris 1000xp 9 months ago today it has 135 miles with 28.5 hours on it and the front differential and drive shaft snapped going about 5 MPH in RWD.. This thing was $11,000 dollars and it broke before its first oil change. I called Polaris and they are telling me its my fault due to wheelies and aggressive riding. They don’t stand behind there products!!!! they say the warranty is BLACK and WHITE and there is nothing they can do. If you really want one of these JUNK over priced unproven pieces of shit!!!! buy an extended warranty !!!!!!! look into the CEO he gets 12 machines a year!!! they give him that many so he doesn’t see all the failures!!!!! I will never buy a POlariS!!!!! POS again!!!!!! garbage not to mention they have the worst reviews … Save your money!!!!
