Renegade 570 mods???

Hello everyone, I picked up a new renegade 570 this summer. Overall pleased with the bike as I upgraded from a 12 year old outty max xt 400. The bike pulls good but not until it’s mid range, I know the 570 is a stroked 500 and that’s where that old engine made power, in the middle of the rev band. I wanted a stronger take off and maybe wheelie?? all I do is trail ride, I bought a dalton dpps-tn (tan) primary spring but heard the cvtech clutches are amazing… are they worth the $600 ish or should I put that $ towards an exhaust and winch etc? Thanks in advance!

rectifier readings

Hey all.. I have a 2012 TRX500FM that keeps blowing the 10A ignition fuse. Im trying to track down the problem and am testing the rectifier/regulator. When I check the r/r with my multimeter set to diode I get about 500 readings on all three stator terminals with the (+) meter probe to (-) r/r terminal, but only about 125 readings with the (-) probe to (+) r/r terminal. Anyone know what the specs are when checking the r/r?? Thanks.

First-time ATV owner

Hello, all! My wife and I just bought a 10-acre property with a 1/4-mile driveway. We bought a 2013 Sportsman 850 XP HO to plow & grade the driveway, and had a Polaris winch and Glacier Pro plow installed by the dealer. The very first day of plowing, I managed to break the winch cable right above the ferrule and wrap the frayed end under itself on the drum. Any tips, tricks, or advice for tearing the winch apart and freeing the cable would be appreciated! I will be moving to synthetic line soon, but I’ve got to get this problem fixed first. Thanks!

Rear Axle or Brakes Lock up!!

Hi Everyone, I am wondering if there might be another Honda owner that lives North of the 49th that has has issues with either the brakes locking or the rear axle. My Bike sits under a tarp in the winter so that it can be cleared of easy to use it to plow driveway, the issue I am having is either the brakes are freezing locked or there may be water in the rear axle housing and it freezes around the axle. I have to put bike in Reverse and give it gas and rock it and it breaks free and moves and everything is fine. I just want to see if I can get some feedback before I take it to Shop!

Sea Foam Combats Ethanol fuel Negatives

Say what you want about ethanol fuels, however they could spoil gasoline engines. here is in particular real with small engines like outboard motors, garden device, and ATVs. What occurs over time is that the ethanol gums up the carburetors, gasoline lines, filters, and different components. Time to combat lower back.
a few years ago my getting old 2000 Honda 450ES ATV begun to become tough to delivery and stay running. Even choking the engine didn’t delivery it up automatically. Letting it run a few minutes to “heat up” became no assure both. Putting it in equipment would often quite simply kill the engine.
Someone in camp asked if i was running ethanol. Neatly, of path, non-ethanol gas changed into practically not possible to discover. They instructed me a few gasoline additive referred to as Sea Foam, so i tried it out. They warned me it could take a number of tanks of fuel to get things straightened out.
So, acquired a can of the sea Foam at the local auto elements shop and introduced the counseled volume to the ATV gas tank several instances over the hunting season. Slowly but absolutely, I could inform this additive changed into making a difference. When the season ended, I delivered greater once I definitely put the ATV in garage storage. Even then, i’d crank it up at the least once a month.
Here season, the Honda roared correct into full vigour. Admittedly, by using this time I discovered a gasoline station locally that provided non-ethanol fuel, so I obtained a 5-gallon can and am the usage of that now together with Sea Foam. In all respects the Honda is back. It begins with one pull of the choke, and stays operating, easily.
Sea Foam is a petroleum product so it’s secure for all 2-four cycle engines, seals, O-rings, gas lines, gasoline device sensors, and different fuel gadget add-ons in fuel and Diesel fuel filter. So, if in case you have a rough operating or beginning gasoline or diesel engine that has been the use of ethanol gasoline, then try some Sea Foam.
And just to be politically incorrect, no longer simplest doe’s ethanol gasoline cause issues in gasoline engines, this corn beginning additive additionally takes this a must-have resource out of the food cycle. Less corn for cattle feed, and different meals sources, causes your red meat and different meals fees to upward push. It’s a double whammy of negative affects to our economy.

Bent Frame? 2011 Outlander Max 650 XT

I own a 2011 Ourlander Max 650 XT that I purchased new. Mainly use it for hunting, ice fishing, trail riding and plowing snow. Last year I noticed the left rear corner saging. I could pick up that corner with a little force and get rid of the sag. It would also make a creeping noise when I did this. I figured I blew out a shock. I recently replaced the rear shocks with the HPG stock kit. Unfortunately this did not fix the problem with the rear left corner saging. Has anyone on here had this problem? Any tip, pointer or advice on what to look at or replace would be greatly appreciated.

Vibration noise

Hi everybody! Just so you know, I’m new to ATV’s and even newer to posting on a forum.
With that said, I could use some help with a used quad I purchased recently. It’s a chain driven machine, not sure of the model number but it’s a 125cc. Everything’s working great on the bike but it makes a very loud and aggravating vibration noise while giving it gas. Moving forward mostly, not so much in reverse and not at all in neutral. I’ve raised the bike and put it in gear and it still does it but I can’t pinpoint the cause. It seems to happen throughout the entire rpm ranges while under a load and moving forward. Imagine a loose washer on a bolt between a piece of metal and the nut being vibrated very aggressively and the sound it makes. While sitting on the bike it seems as if it’s coming from directly underneath the rider.
Any help or hints would be very appreciated, thank you in advance
