Hello all, I signed up on this site approximately two years ago when I purchased my Grizz but never did anything here until now. Shame on me! I’m in northern Illinois and looking to get familiar with riding in Wisconsin. I’ve only done a little riding there but mainly for ice fishing purposes the last couple winters. I’m looking to really get out this spring and summer to put some miles on this caged beast. I would appreciate any suggestions on good places to go. Thanks!:peace:

2018 Grizzly Thoughts / Rumors

Ok.. get all your moans and groans and " Arrg Not again, we do this every year" complaints out of the way.

There. feel better now ? Haha

So, This is the year I return from the Dark side. I had a 2009 Grizzly 700. I must have been drugged, because I made a big booboo and bought a Canam Outlander 800xt. Its gonna be 2 years this spring and I’m missing the grizz so bad. I am buying another one.

I just want to see if I should start shopping the 2017’s or should I wait for the 2018 Release ?

Any rumors about changes for 2018 ?

What date does Yamaha release new model info ?

chain guide/slider

1988 trx250x

I see where the original chain slider is bolted to the frame by two
Small bolts. It looks like the slider also goes around the the swing arm
Frame piece. Does the the swing arm have to be removed to install the
Chain slider??

Mine is missing.

idles fine but boggs when gassed

so i had the grizzly 660 sitting in the garage for a couple months due to minor problems like the starter going bad and i finally took it out, replaced the starter, battery and relay. start it up runs great, rode it for about 10 minutes around the block. same thing the next day and it ran great. i decide i wanna trade it for a 450 race quad so i bring it to someone’s house to trade. as soon as they get on it, it’s starts bogging down. i thought it may be low on fuel, so i look and it was, but also had a lot of **** in the tank. i bring it home clean out the tank clean off the filters at the bottom because they were covered with ****. put the tank back on same thing. i figured it’s the carb, take the carb out took all the jets, float, needles out sprayed them all down, stuck a needle through each jet, and to me the carb didn’t seem dirty at all except one jet did seem a little clogged. put it back togather and it still boggs down everytime i give it gas. now i checked the oil, and what do you know i’m missing a little, filled it back up with only about half a quart of 10w-40. any ideas?
