Hello everyone, I’m gcr from Vegas. Just thought I’d check in and say hello. I figure I’ll be needing some help from the community. I just bought a 2006 trx400ex from a guy down the road, it’s in really good shape, seems to run pretty good. Haven’t got to take it out yet but so far so good for the little I’ve ridden it. I chose the 400ex because of the reliability of that motor and I needed a quad that would fit in my Tacoma bed, 4dr short bed, it fits perfectly, just need to get a bed extender. It fits between the wheel wells. Should have plenty of power for my needs, I just like ride and tinker, nothing outrageous. It seems to have too much oil in it though, need to hunt down a service manual and learn all that stuff.
