New to Polaris. Two years ago (while riding my 400 EX) I met a gentleman near trail 57 at Windrock riding a Scrambler. He was from the Chattanooga area and apparently rode a lot. Not just riding but covering some serious ground at an impressive pace. After picking his brain, I knew someday I would step up to that type of machine.

I found a good deal on a leftover 2016 Scrambler 850 and pulled the trigger in November. I have only put 11 hours on the machine. So far mostly good and mostly impressed. I am however disappointed with the sloppy steering shaft.

When standing up the steering shaft has vertical play of 1/4 to 3/8 of on inch (sloppy). Anybody else experienced this issue on a new machine?
