Hey folks howdy from the state of Alabama and: ROLL TIDE! Have a 450 Foreman and 2 Recon machines that I bought almost a year ago. Been riding Honda since the 3-wheeler days so pretty comfortable with the machines and I think they make a great product.
One of the Recons (both of them have less than 10 hours on them)just won’t start. Rode it a week ago Saturday for about 15 minutes just to keep the battery charged and parked it. This past Saturday my wife got on the ES Recon and fired right up but the standard shift one would just turn but would not catch. Plenty of fuel but no spark from the plug. It’s like a wire came lose, a relay or fuse blew but don’t know where to start. The dealer says its got a 12 month warranty but a pain to get it back to him from a distance standpoint. I found no loose wires and combed all the connections. Kill switch bad? Something else? Any suggestions on where to trace this would be helpful since I think it’s something pretty simple.
