My First Grizz

After 4 tedious years of college, I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Once I secured a real job, it was time to treat myself for all of my hard work. I have had a couple dirt bikes in the past as well as a sled and a jeep; I was ready for something different. Due to Maine’s endless ATV trail systems and the short drive to a local trail head, I decided a wheeler was what I was looking for.

It didn’t take long for me to realize a Grizzly is the cream of the crop as far as wheelers go. Most of my buddies have Sportsman, and after riding a couple it became apparent that the fit, finish, and reliability just wasn’t what I was looking for.

I had been shopping around for the best deal and not too long after my first paycheck I went to finalize a purchase. Even with the 2.5% sales tax increase from Maine to New York, I was still able to come out ahead by ~ $800 from a friend at a dealership near Lake George. This was a good 7hr drive from where I live north of Bangor. However, well worth it due to the amount of family I have in the area. A trip I would have taken anyways.

Shes a 2016 Grizzly 700 EPS. I also opted to have 27" Mudlite XTR’s thrown on before I took delivery. The stock tires wouldnt have lasted long.

The day I brought it home. It didn’t take long for me to put it through its paces at the family farm. (The lack of pictures is due to the amount of fun I was having…)
