Mud Machine regrets

Hey everyone, I have a 2010 outlander, I have done the snorkels and rad relocate both of which I am very pleased with. I then took it a step further and purchased some mega mayhems in the 28" size.

I put the new tires on in May. Fist impression are wow what have I built!
This thing can go anywhere!!! It was a great ride for the first few months. Then the heavy 28" tires started to become more work on the trails that we ride then the few bottomless mud holes that we encounter and can usually go around.

I miss the nimbleness of a more stock like tire.

Now I feel like I should have built a more trail friendly bike, I guess tires and fiddle with the dalton clutch kit and I’m off to the nimbleness side of things again. Snorkels and rad relocate will stay as they are kinda needed on the G1 bikes, great peace of mind anyways.

Well anyone else been down this trail? What was the verdict… stockish/trail bike or mud monster.
