First, I removed my clutch cover and belt and fired the bike up.. Was idling great, then shut itself off like the usual problem.. So ended up getting it running and gave it throttle to keep it running.. I kept it running until I heard that squeak sound I was talking about behind the primary.
Drained oil, no metal pieces or anything in the oil.
I removed the primary and shroud etc.. Removed my pto cover to find that my plain bearing had spun. So like What I was thinking is definitely an issue. The oil fill hole has about 1/4 of it aligned. Also to my knowledge, the oil bleeder line for the filler hole was clogged with metal pieces and cracked, I’m assuming from my last detonation. My error, for sure! For not totally inspecting that to ensure its clean and clear.
I believe the crank is ok, I don’t see any wear marks, grooves or unusual markings on it. I’m going to mic it all and make sure.
So on my purchase list is a pto cover, bearing and a gasket. Hoping that should be it for this thing.. Here’s some pics
