When I bought my Grizzly, I also bought the moose plow setup with a warn winch for it as well, I’m not really a fan of the Warn plow pivot system and didn’t want a mid mount that I had to remove when I wheel in the warmer months, so I went with the RM4 Moose front mount. Picked up all the parts about 2 weeks after I bought the atv. Brought it all home, unboxed it and started the install, Turns out the dealer ordered a 2015 Grizzly front mount (4501-0331) the holes all line up but the 2016s have a bracket change on the front that prevented it from fitting correctly.
I attemped to call Moose but they don’t have a listed number as they only want dealers calling them and they didn’t have anything on their website for a 2016. Doing some research online I was able to track down a new part number for the 2016’s, that isn’t yet listed on their website, 4501-0534. Bad news is it is backordered till Feb but good news was my dealer was able to get one from another dealer, since I need to get it all on for any snow that may or may not be in the near future.
Figured I would share this so that others know the 2015 mount will not work on the 2016s. The 0534 part number is listed on parts unlimited for both the Grizzly and Kodiak, which my dealer was able to double check as the correct part # for the 2016 model years. I picked my new mount up yesterday and test fit it last night and it does indeed clear the tabs on the front of the grizzly that the other mount did not. Ill update with some pictures after the final install.
