The problem with working nights is that I occasionally have time to contemplate things that I would normally dismiss as superfluous. :rolleyes:

I received/bought a lowrance Elite 5 GPS with fish finder(?) for Christmas. My plan is to use this for my GPS unit on my 900 Trail. The discussion at work turned to the sonar device that will go unused. What would happen if I mounted it facing forward on my front grill? Would it act as an early warning device during night rides? Maybe it would work as a bat attraction device?:)
(maybe I should quit listening to my coworkers?)

Any thoughts from the brain trust of the forum members?
