There are a few options out there, all seem to be in that $175 – $200 range.
The hilift version seems like a super easy install, just unbolt the shocks, bolt on the extenders and bolt everything back up. I’ll probably pull the front sway bars off when I do it.
The racetech version seems a bit harder, but also looks like it really does lift the vehicle a little better but maybe that is an incorrect perception.
Sounds like a lot of you are running the lift kits, even some with aftermarket shocks.
I don’t want to go nuts here, I’m gaining an inch going to the 26" tires and I think if I could add another inch or so I would probably be good for about 99% of my planned riding. I figure if I add the lift kit I could back my shock setting back down instead of leaving it at the top notch to gain clearance.
I’m going to be heading up to the mountains in a couple weeks so I probably need to get something ordered soon if I am going to get it on before I leave.
Any strong feelings one way or the other on which kit to get or whether I should just leave well enough alone and wait until I get some aftermarket shocks sometime down to the road to gain another inch of clearance?
Thanks, Nathan
