Last night was wild , we had 7 bikes in our group and meet up in the woods with our friends who had 8 , had a great time , 15 bikes , the Polaris 750 Brute Force is one bad azz bike , so the lights on my wife’s and my bike both decide to go out , probably from water , so no problem we rode in line with bikes with lights in front and in back , so we all decide to call it a night and broke into two groups and went 2 different ways , the crew with me beelines it back to the house , so that leaves the wife , my neighbor and me way back in the swamp with 2 bikes with no lights and I had a flash light , so then the wife flips her bike over for the 10th time and this was about the worst , the bike was upside down and on top of her , I ran back the trail in total darkness and get the bike off of her , she was OK physically but mentally she goes bizzerk on me cause she didn’t have lights and thats why it happened , let it sit for a couple of minutes and then cranked the bike up and it was smoking bad , after about a minute it cleared up and we take off again , going thru some rough stuff my bike goes down , sounded like a fuel issue , wouldn’t stay running , so we hook up to my neighbor and he starts pulling me , remember I have no lights and he doesn’t know where to go as he is a follower and not a leader , so I recognize that we are going the wrong way on the wrong trail , so on a very tight trail we had to turn the dead bike around and get it hooked up again , we were calling our freinds on the phone and they were not answering , figured we would have a really hard time pulling the dead bike thru 2 miles of ruts so we headed to a trail to get to the pavement and rode a mile down the road to get home , found every body had loaded up and left , I am really pissed at them , still have heard from any of the 4 that left us behind —–so now is where it gets interesting , about an hour later my friend’s wife calls me and says her husband got separated from the other group , got stuck in a hole and there are no trees close enough for his winch and the cell service is iffy , so I try to call him and see where he is , no answer , so by myself I take off on another bike with lights and rode for an hour , stopping and trying to call every 5 minutes , stopping the engine and listening for motors , and finally see lights up the trail , by the time I got there people from the other group had found him and got him out , so then I had to go back 30 minutes plus by myself —-had 2 hours of sleep and it is going to be a long day today
