Kimpex Dry Ride 2.0, is it really waterproof?

So I wrecked my Crappy Tire North Liberty box doing wheelies and need to replace it this week. I am settled on either the Kimpex Outback at $232 or the Kimpex Dry Ride 2.0 at $375. The only reason I am considering the Dry Ride at that price is because they claim it is waterproof which is a big deal to me. I don’t expect it to keep out water when submerged or anything but I am just hoping that if it rains or I’m riding through water or hosing it off after a ride that it won’t get soaked inside. Since the Outback has similar capacities and dimensions I don’t want to shell out an extra $140 for something that is still going to get my stuff wet.

If anyone has any first hand experience with this box and can shed some light on how they are sealed and if they really work, that would be great. I already know that the Kimpex latches are garbage and have a heavy duty set waiting to go on whatever I buy.
