Just ordered 32″ Roctanes

Hey guys. I just ordered a set of 32x10x14 STI Rocktane XDs for our XP4 1000. I know this is a huge step up in size and weight from the stock big horns, which I am currently running on STI 14×7 beadlocks.

Our riding mainly consists of two places. One place is at Disney, OK, which is 95% slow trail riding with a lot of rocks and hill climbs. Most of the hill we go up are tall, but gradual. And we go up them at a slow pace in low range, we don’t really push the machine. I haul my wife and kids around, and the riding experience there is more about just being out on the trails and watching the other people do crazy stuff.. We don’t do anything that comes close to pushing the machine. I dodge mud holes like they’re cancer, so no need in even discussing that scenario.

Our other destination is Littla Sahara in Oklahoma. I have Method 406 beadlocks with 30×14 Skats mounted up for that.

I feel like the stock clutching works good enough for us in both environments. We are still on the stock belt at over 60 hours, with maybe 40 of them at the dunes with paddles and 20 of them at Disney.

I wouldn’t mind spending the money on a DDP or comparable clutch kit to compensate for the much larger Roctanes.. My only concern is how it will affect the trips to the sand dunes. We don’t ride super hard there, either. But I don’t want to be messing with weights or springs every time I bolt on a different set of tires to suit the trip.

Should I leave well enough alone, or is there a happy "medium" clutch calibration upgrade that would work better in both environments without making changes to it?

Thanks for your opinions and suggestions in advance.
