Yup, that time of the year where my local trails (National Forest)are full of deer hunters. I have no problems with hunting or hunters for the most part and they are mostly nice people, but it does get a little more crowded and some of them seem to think they own the place. God forbid a motorcycle or RZR that normally banzai the trails, scare the deer away. I’m always super cautious this time of the year and give way to the 4x4s that don’t normally frequent these trails but are abundant during the season, but I still get the dirty looks like I don’t belong here?
And of course they leave trash in the campsites ( even though a roll off dumpster is provided at the staging area) that the OHV crowd cleans up on their "Adopt a Trail" program.

And to make matters worse, helmets are required for ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles, but do the hunters wear them tooling around in their Rhinos or Rangers?? Hell no!
And always after deer season you see lots more new trails blazed by the hunters who ignore the "stay on existing trails" signs and create their own. So who gets blamed? The OHV crowd. And lastly these folks don’t understand it’s the CA state green sticker money that pays for trail maintenance, not the federal government.
Ok rant over ……………for now!:rollfinger:
