A couple months ago I installed the IB hdpe skids on my 2015 outlander 800xt max. They are great quality and provide great protection. Ever since I installed them I noticed every time I made a hard left or right turn my brake lever would go right to the bar when depressed. I didn’t put it together at first and thought maybe I got air In my line from having my bike vertical when I installed them. I bleed my brakes a few times and still no change. So tonight I attempted to bleed again when I noticed marks on the a-arm guard. So I turn my wheels hard left and right and notice my calipers are hitting the a arm gaurd. This is causing the caliper to be forced out pushing the piston in. Which is why I have to pump my brakes to get the piston to adjust itself. I’ve tried to re position them but there is not enough play in the holes to move it enough. I’m going to call IB on Monday and see what they will do. Not impressed that I’m having contact issues. for now I have takin them off. it almost seems as if the bend in them which wraps them up to protect the boots is not at a high enough angle. :th_smiliefrustrated:th_smiliepissed:
