i guess my big red is wOrn out?

when I first got the big red it ran ok and would die when started so I adjusted the carb. Then it would not start and the plug smells like gas and looked like coked up oil.

I had the carb rebuilt then ended up buying a brand new one.
I had the new one rebuilt all along with the same issues.

Ok then it would start ok it stayed started fine. I thought it was the fuel filter.

Not we changed the oil, changed out the plug and it ran for a day then I opened the plug and it was black and smelled like gas.

It smokes now and then but with new oil there was no smoke.

And it does not always smoke just when its acting up.

Now the route to get it going is pull the plug, sand the plug and soak it in alcohol and use a tooth brush let it all dry out and the rig fires right up.

So is it time to part this rig out on ebay?

I dont think I can spend any more cash, although it could be the CDI it does work it could be the timing.

Im sure if I change that CDI and do the timing it will still be bad oil rings I have no mechanical skills and no time I need to use this on a small farm. :icon_ rasta:

ONE THING TO NOTE:

1. When I work on it and get it started and warmed up it will run the entire day and start faster then my car, runs smooth but the next morning when cold the plug is black and gummed up and thus the cleaning the plug ritual starts all over.

I fear this ride is over.
