I’m by no means a mechanic, however try to troubleshoot things myself before breaking out the billfold. My 2001 Rancher 350 sets quite often, so take that into consideration. Last rode 2 Mo’s ago and ran fine after changing a plug. What I have so far. Went in shop, fired right up, drove an 1/8th of a mile, killed it pressure washed it, now wont start. Waited two days, thinking something may have gotten wet or lose, but still wont start. Turns over just fine. Changed spark plug again, still wont start. Will run for a second with starting fluid, but only tried that twice. Okay, here’s where Im confused, I pull started it and it fired right up and ran 10 seconds, died. Did it again, ran again for 7 seconds or so. then eventually it failed to run off pull start. Bled the bowl, gas poured out for 5 or so seconds. Then tightened it up, tried pull start, no luck. Again I am no mechanic, however have just tried to do some things to narrow down the problem. I believe its definitely a fuel issue? Carb could very well be gummed up due to the minimal use, but wanted to see if there were any ideas before I got into that. Any input appreciated. Thanks
