Why can’t they make the plastic scratch resistant? I have a 2015 Honda Foreman – Black… Breathing near it makes scratches appear… I have 100 miles now and it it looks like I ran it through some government document shredder lol…
Just saying… somebody needs to get with the plastic provider/engineer and bring the body panels into the future with tougher plastic… I know it’s an off road vehicle and I’m going to run it through thorns and cactus and all sorts of abrasive materials, but hey, I still want to rinse it off and it look shiny and new.
Anyway… what made me post this is sad but true… I have tall rubber boots I wear for bow hunting that have zipper to make putting on and off easy, not thinking anything of it I get home and see the plastic is totally scratched to hell on both sides and realize the zipper from the boots rubbed constantly the entire ride to and from. the fenders show every little scratch from just going through tall grass… the four wheeler looks thrashed.
So, OCD clean freaks out there be warned the plastic scratches WAY to easy.
I am like, it’s a four wheeler it’s going to get scratched, but watching that video, makes me think there is got to be better materials for this application so scratches are not caused by 1 mile hour wind blowing dust on it 🙂
