Alright guys, been workin on my 2000 450 formeman, I changed the piston rings about a month ago, the plunger valve in the top of the carb had split so it wasn’t running right, I work offshore so I’m gone two weeks at a time, I put a new plunger in today and put a factory muffler back on, had a glass pack on it, the pipe was getting red hot comin out the head and into the bend, I put a bigger jet and adjusted the valves, it’s alot better, but still gets red if I hold the throttle, and now I’m hearing a tickING noise from the front top end of the engine, it might have been doin it after I changed the rings and I just couldn’t here it with the glass pack, idk what it is, any advice would help, thanks in advance.
