Help working a ticket w/Polaris

My situation:

2014 XP1000, only 65 hours. Motor hard to start when cold or after sitting. Slams to a stop like backfire when it dies. Runs great when warm. Turned out to be half compression in each cylinder. Oil and air all tested good by Polaris. They can’t figure out why, so won’t commit to help me until they identify an actual defective part. Been a month with no help yet. Asking for pics and info one question per day at a time. Want me to fix at my expense, they will continue to look and might help me later.

We are very upset at the slow speed at getting resolution and knowing I did nothing to cause it and can’t ride (while I continue to pay for it).

Ask:

I have to call the customer service line tomorrow. (So far, all work has been done through dealer in their online ticket system.) Any advice or someone who can help push along before I call? I intend to be nice. I am nice. But I am about to become a huge anti-Polaris advocate if I can’t make progress.

Please don’t tell me your horror stories. I get it, read them, and now feel for you. But it will only make me feel worse. I have seen some folks on here who could help and thought I would ask.
