Help with fuel cutout issue

Hi All,

I am looking for some help on my 2009 XP 850. I stored it for the winter and it was running great. I recently got it out and it started right up, but immediately I noticed it wasn’t idling smooth. When I put it in gear and hit the throttle, it would cut out and die. I thought at first maybe the ;little bit of fuel left in it went bad, so I changed that out. I also cleaned the air filter and made sure the battery was charged.

I started it back up and the issue persisted. It will idle (though eratic at times), but as soon as you put it under load and hit the throttle, it begins to rev up and then cuts out as if it isn’t getting any fuel. At the same time it cuts out, I am getting the wrench on the display. If you wait for the wrench to go out, it will take off just fine. It seems to me that this is maybe a connection issue to come type of a throttle sensor? (just a guess). Maybe someone can point me in the right direction here.

I was wondering if anyone has run across this issue. Also, I was hoping someone could give me some help on pulling the codes it is throwing. I’ve tried the turn the switch on and off three times and that does nothing. I can’t seem to find a definitive answer on how to pull the codes off this thing. Any help is greatly appreciated.
