I just installed a set of 26" Big Horns on a set of ITP 212 wheels and now have a serious front end wobble from about 22-35mph. I only notice the wobble when riding on asphalt at those speed but I need to ride on the streets for about a mile or so to access the trails I ride up in Maine. Also, the speed limit in the neighborhoods is 30 mph and I don’t want to exceed them and upset the community. I jacked up the front of the ATV and spun the wheels as fast as I could to see if I could see any sort of wobble at all and I couldn’t. I wrote to Mud Throwers where I got the wheels and tires and they were nice enough to send me out a new front tire. The problem is I am in a wheelchair so swapping the tires and wheels is going to be a real pain in the neck. I am going to have to remove one tire and wheel at a time and drive about twenty miles to the nearest dealer, have them install the new tire on a wheel, drive home and install the wheel and tire, take in for a ride in my neighborhood in Massachusetts (which is illegal) and see if the vibration is gone. If it isn’t? I have to bring both tires and wheels to the dealership again and have them swap the new tire onto the other wheel and then drive home again, reinstall it again and take if for another illegal neighborhood blast. Does anyone have any other ideas on maybe how I can figure out which tire is the defective one without going through al this work? Thanks in advance.
