Hey guys. New to the forum seen some great topics and great answers glad to be a part. I am a mechanic and hopefully I can be of help to some of you. That being said I am having the old 700 ranger throttle and TPS issues. I have a new throttle body and TPS on my machine thanks to a dealer mishap and since they had it machine has not operated properly. Has no power. Took matters ino my own hands and found a reading of .465v on my yellow wire for the TPS. So shouldn’t be a problem right. Adjust it to .660 v and still not performing right. So on to the long version. Disconnect throttle cable and set base voltage to .528v. Problem is where do you set the TPS sensor to begin ? Against my own better judgment I adjusted the main idle screw which is supposed to be factory set an now I have a real problem won’t even run. Oh boy have I done it now. Any help would be excellent. In particular where do you set the TPS to get your .528v ?
