Short time lurker here. Figured this is the place to be as a fairly new owner to an 88 trx300fw. It is my first adult atv. Not a show piece but a heck of a worker. I use it for my outdoor chores. Hauling wood, snow plow,moving trailers, and the occasional fun stuff. Previous owner said it is been to hell and back twice, with scars to prove it. Got it for 75 bucks, not too shabby. Has a couple issues though. Idle is sporadic, sometimes I have to jiggle the ignition wire for it to start, rear tires have a slow leak, front brake needs some tlc, small oil leak from top end gasket. But it still gets the job done. Just finished hauling all my wiid I’ll need for the season so she will be getting some downtime. I will addressing these issues and a couple other minor things.
