Grizzly 600 crank breather routing / connection??

So I purchased my 2001 grizzly 600 a couple of months ago and have done a ton of maintenance and repairs to it.

I have the factory service manual downloaded and have searched extensively for the routing and top connection point for the crankcase breather hose which was disconnected when I bought it. It still has the heat protective foil cover over the majority of it in decent shape and there is a 90° plastic elbow fitting in the end with a nipple type end on it and I have no idea where it should terminate…?

Secondly there is a piece of plastic air duct that the service manual shows connecting to a rubber hose coming out of the drive belt housing into the area under the carburetor and in front of the airbox. I can get it wedged back in there and possibly even hooked up to the hose but I have no idea as to whether it would be positioned correctly in the space. The positioning that the service manual image seems to show has me completely perplexed.

These are the final two unanswered questions that stand between this thing sitting in the garage or out at the farm climbing creekbanks, etc.

Any help..?
