Hello all, Just bought my first 4×4 quad. 2006 Grizzly 400. Ive been riding and fixing 450s sport quads for years and finally decided to get a 4×4.
I was looking over my new purchase and noticed gas was leaking the petcock on the tank. Well I fixed that issue then realized the choke was NOT sitting properly into the carb. It was out a little bit so I pushed it in all the way.. I go to start and cranks won’t start. I am turning the choke on and off and it sometimes starts and shuts off. Sometimes idles a little longer than other times. I can give it gas and it will run but sounds like its starving for fuel..

I cleaned out the carb today and still have the same issue.. It will start but shuts off a few seconds later. The plug is nice and wet with gas…

Any ideas what Im missing ??? choke not working properly??
