I just finished making my pinion cover. I made it out of T6061 aluminum. I installed and tested it today. It worked great. The cover is as big as I could make it. The tie rod almost touches it when turned all the way to the right. I machined out the bottom right corner to clear the A arm bolt cap. When I was reverse engineering he pinion cover I noticed porosity in 4 different spots. No WONDER so many are breaking. Polaris really let us down putting such a cheap part on there high HP machines.
