I have been using a set of ProGrip 3400 dual goggles with Anti-Fog & UV protection lens for several years when mowing my 15 acres with a 60" ZTR mower to keep the dirrt, dust ,& debris out of my eyes. A water leak in my shop roof got them wet and ruined the lenses. I started looking on eBay and found the $50.00 price has increased greatly from the old price, so I settled on a pair of:
"DeWALT DPG82-11 CONCEALER CLEAR ANTI-FOG SAFETY GOGGLES DUAL MOLD 1 PAIR" for $10.59 on eBay.
"DeWALT DPG82-11 CONCEALER CLEAR ANTI-FOG SAFETY GOGGLES DUAL MOLD 1 PAIR" for $10.59 on eBay.
I thought they could not be much good for that price, but I used them this morning for the first time, and was amazed at how well they worked.
The $50.00 ProGrip I had used did not fit good, so I had to glue in a piece of foam rubber to make a seal over the bridge of my nose and put in a stiff wire to spread the frame out to fit my face. The cloth over the top split, so I had to seal that up with silicone adhesive. So much for Italy’s engineering. No wonder that Italy lost the war.
I highly recommend the DeWalt goggle for general use at a very low cost.
