I recently purchased a base model 16 Polaris 570. I have never owned a fuel injected ATV and always had the reassurance of a reserve setting on other ATVs. I was able to go approximately 45 miles on a tank of gas and when the digital fuel gauge got down to one illuminated bar it started to stutter and back fire. I was able to get back home and let it cool off. I added fuel and rode again. I found the bike will run at the low level but a majority of its power is lost. I like to know how far I can go on a tank of fuel for a worst case scenario.
As I posted before, this is my first Polaris ATV and so far it’s been good. The bike has great power and Polaris’ AWD works great. We made some new trails today on our property so a majority of driving on the first tank of gas was low range.
Has anyone else checked their fuel mileage on a 570?
