Hey everyone,
I recently got a 2003 foreman 450. It didn’t run when I bought it so I tore down the carb, drained the fuel tank etc.. and cleaned everything really well. I got it to idle and drive. On the test drive, I noticed it was idling really high. So, I adjusted the black idle screw (the one with the spring and black nob). I went a little too far and it stalled. I backed it up to revert the change, but it wouldn’t start. Out of frustration, I turned it both ways and kept experimenting until I shot myself in the foot. Now, I have no idea where "normal" is.
Is there a "default" setting? Something like the 2 5/8 turns for the fuel mixture screw (I think that’s what it’s called)?
