The other day, I was riding with my friend for about an hour and a half before we stopped down BP and filled up the tank on my 900 because I had 2 bars left on the speedo (i used 93 octane as usual).
About 20 minutes after we filled up, I was heading back past my house and was gunna go ride some other places.
As soon as I crested a small hill that I’ve gone over 1000 other times, my rzr lost all engine power, stalled, and backfired. No engine light or trouble codes appeared. I then towed it back to my house.
I began troubleshooting by emptying the gas tank and replacing with new gas, clearing the entire fuel line, cleaning the fuel rail and injectors, checking the spark plugs, and checking the battery.
Everything is functioning perfectly it seems…
Fuel pump is pumping, spark plugs are burning perfect, injectors are clean, so on so forth.
The only thing I’m noting is the spark plugs are dry AFTER I try to start the engine. I would think that they would be somewhat damp from fuel being sprayed on them…
Am I correct on that?
I’ve been able to check everything down to the injectors…but I cannot tell if they’re spraying or not.
Any advice?…
