Saw this over at Cabela’s. Often wondered what I (we) would do if we ever got stuck but had nothing to winch or rope to. Thought that this may be of assistance. Heard on another forum some years ago that Rebar works if you use 3 pieces, 2 as an X (bury them pretty deep if possible) then place the 3rd straight up and down directly behind the X. Hook your winch or rope up to it and supposedly it works. Never seen it in action nor have I ever tried it.
I have to imagine some of you guys, or gals, have been in this situation before. What have you done or used. What other ideas are out there for a predicament such as this?
