DYI snorkel question

Hello to all the 800 RZR S owners and if your are a polaris engineer all the better. Here in Australia the biggest issue with outback riding is the fine dust. I have been designing a snorkel suitable for my use, and carried out a lot of research on the snorkel topic. Most snorkel kits just seem to extend the 3 pipes , from below the plastic cover to above and they are then places between the 2 seats, I thought this be an odd place to terminate the pipes because the area is still prone to a lot of dust. So the issues to consider is carby intake, CTV box intake and exhaust venting. CTV cooling is a must for belt life and clean engine intake air is a must for engine life.
Has anyone considered this, a snorkel air intake located just above the roof level on the passenger side to minimise air suction noise to the driver, now thinking outside the circle , just having 1 air intake pipe, so what we have in effect is the engine is sucking air so the air enters the piping above the roof line nice cool clean air , it gets sucked into the CVT box and out then into the standard air filter box , theoretically , the engine acts as the air pump thus cooling the CVT box
What do you guys think of that idea, feel free to say good or bad thoughts
