Have you encountered changing the out the oem fuel filter to a universal? It appears, the fuel filter on the DS250 has 1/4" going from the tank to the filter then 3/16" on the other side going to the caburetor. The problem is, the oem costs $14.00 and only $3.00 for a universal. The universals are 1/4" going in and 1/4" going out. If I use a more economical universal fuel filter I need to find an adapter to downsize to the 3/16" to feed into the carburetor. Has anyone encountered this problem and if so, how did you fix.
